Advantages of Digitisation retail

The retail app is used to collect data on Retail storage facilities where your products are stored. Data is captured in store, and then synced to a central cloud storage database. In-depth analysis is performed on the collected data.

Each retail outlet is measured against KPI’s per product. KPI’s include storage temperature, placement of products in the cabinet, overstocking of cabinets, etc. Photos are uploaded as part of the inspection to give more insights on the analysis.

The application use the GS1 Global Trade Item Number (represented by the barcode) to obtain all product dimension, minimum & maximum temperatures, etc..

If there is any variance outside of the supplier product parameters alerts are initiated to the relevant teams. Retailers can be held responsible for loss in product quality.

The application is very user friendly and easy to use.

Customers that buy the product can also download the app and give customer feedback including claiming a replacement or log a complaint.

The App can be easily downloaded from the GooglePlay or Apple store. Register on the app, scan the supplier product at the retail shop, capture storage temperatures, upload photo’s and add additional information as to the condition of the storage.

This information is synced to the Azure Database and reports can be viewed and further actions can be taken. The product information with Minimum Storage temperatures is being imported form GS1 which keeps the barcode inventory for the supplier or any other product information.
